Jambo is a Swahili word that was used by traders on the Erythraean Seas when they were ready to pay off their debts. It later was used to refer to the colonial lord, then slowly became a colloquial greeting. Here, we welcome the listener to delight in a steppenwolf-from-the-global-south type classic rock number that imagines a trio jamming until the break of dawn while a pair of feline saxophones complain to each other on the fence outside.
